We can all use a little help on the way when it comes to storage and organization! Most of us aren't as super organized and well sorted as we wish, but don't despair, there are practical and simple solutions available which will make your life so much easier!

Now, isn't this a very smart idea! Instead of having shelves in your linen closet, you put in drawers. That means, no hard-to-reach areas in the back of the shelves. That means, always having access to your linens and towels without having to bend backwards each time you need to get something. And that means making it so much easier to keep everything sorted and organized, and you'll know exactly what you have on hand, without making a fuss each time you need some new sheets.

Like this idea? Well there are plenty of more interesting storage solutions over at Houzz!

If there is one thing we love over here at Twilight Gray it's homes that are bright, elegant and livable! A home that you actually feel comfortable spending time in, where you don't mind kicking off your shoes, but also a place that has personality and style. Dare we say that this home by designer CJ Abbey accomplishes that perfectly?

I mean, the kitchen is gorgeous, wouldn't you say? We love the warm floor and the gray cabinets, however we feel a bit so so about the plastic chairs.

You can definitely tell when careful consideration went into each choice in terms of design, but it still doesn't look "styled"

Soothing, relaxing and calming. Yet not too white and boring. What a nice space! Feaured over at DesireToInspire - head over there for more inspiring pictures!

Well, you'll love this home in Orgeval, France which is owned by a former journalist that left their former profession behind and became a restorer and decorator. Living Room Turned into a Bright Kitchen with Stainless Steel Backsplash

Now, to turn a living room into a kitchen, that definitely requires guts (and a willingness to rewire plumbing and electrical!) Realizing how much time actually are being spent in kitchens these days, Kate an her family decided that the best room in the house, with the largest amount of natural light was better suited to become the heart of the home - the kitchen, and we certainly couldn't agree more! Take a look at this before picture:

And then look at the after:

kitchen

It doesn't really look like the same space, does it? This kitchen makeover was certainly tastefully done and features earthy tones and light colors but not too much white, which sometimes can become almost too sterile... It looks like they used a stainless steel backsplash here, and I must say it works really nicely. Sometimes stainless steel as a backsplash can just feel cold and too reflective, but here they have really used it right. According to DesignSponge that featured this before and after, the whole remodel cost $80,000. Well, they certainly used their money well. Nice job.

Before & After - 80s Kitchen Gets a White Makeover

Dark cabinets and dated wallpaper were just some of the unappealing aspects of this 80s kitchen which has been fabulously remodeled! Take a moment and look at these Before and After pictures, the results are quiet astonoshing! Out with the old and in with the new definitely applies here!

Holly over at Nothing But Bonfires took this kitchen from drab to fab with the help of her husband (and parents!) Considering how there isn't a huge amount of light in this kitchen I think they did a wonderful job brightening everything up considerably. To go with all white cabinets, a light countertop and a white table and chairs really went a long way towards bringing more brightness into this space. Subway tile is used for the backsplash and they have also utilized some blackboard paint which always adds a fun and interesting touch. Great job guys!
